As a freelance designer/writer, I help creative businesses build or grow their online presence without the high costs of a marketing agency.
Design and advertising have been my wheelhouse for 30 years (through industry-changing computer graphics and a weird new thing called the internet). My career began in 1991 with a communication degree; fell into seven years with a busy design studio in Brisbane; then moved through Melbourne advertising agencies, art direction and freelance design.
Along the way I grew and sold a couple of online businesses.
A slightly winding path to a valuable combination of skills including graphic design, website design, content production, social media and digital marketing.
I now focus on websites but am happy to advise in other areas. Sometimes it’s helpful to have someone watching for growth opportunities and I often email clients with marketing suggestions.
Small business is busy in all directions but it’s hard to thrive without effective marketing.
